About "Canary Changing Light"
After a few months of working with water-based paints such as watercolour, ink and gouache, I wanted to challenge myself to paint quick studies with oils. I have long loved oil paint as it allows me to achieve thick textured brushmarks, amazing depth of colour and seamless blending, all qualities I have utilised in this painting of the unique O2 Arena.
