About "St Paul's Finale"

This is it - day 365. What a journey it has been, but I have loved every moment of it. I must admit that I was super nervous about doing this final painting, as I was determined to finish with a cracker. As a last challenge, I chose to paint a tricky view of St Paul's Cathedral onto a large canvas. Needing to cover a lot of area within an hour, I mixed my paints beforehand and painted with big brushes to save time. I managed to complete the piece with four minutes to spare. It is full of thick texture, rich colour and visible juicy brushstrokes. A great piece to conclude the year with.
