The London skyline looking towards St Paul's and the City, painted with quick dashes of watercolour over inked structural lines.

Indian Paper Float Framing

This piece is painted onto very thick, handmade Indian paper, with 'torn' edges. Rather than using a more conventional framing method, which is not practical with paper this thick, this piece is framed using a beautiful 'Floating Frame' technique, where the artwork is mounted to a backboard, revealing all of those fantastic edges, with the clear acrylic face of the frame being suspended a couple of centimetres above the surface, making for a unique complete piece of art.
