About "Motion of New York"

For this days piece, I wanted to experiment with creating a piece which was abstract, but at the same time recognisable as a busy New York street. The black paint brushed on either side of the piece gives a blurred impression of the high rise buildings of the city, whilst the bold lines and dots emanating from the distance suggest streaming traffic. I added hints of gold paint to intensify the molten sunset tones even more, and to catch the light when viewed from different angles.
