About "Mountainous"
Created in the same way as my painting on day 245, I manipulated leftover paints on my palette to form the peak of Mount Blanc. I applied paint thickly with visible impasto strokes to give the painting a real presence, which works particularly well for portraying the magnificence of Mount Blanc.
