About "Lily Pads and Texture"
Created using leftover paints from another piece and inspired by the remaining colours, I manipulated paint on the palette in a swirl-like motion to form waterlilies. Not one bit of paint was wasted, so the resultant piece was extremely textured with paint marks protruding from the surface in an almost sculptural manner.
