About "Lee Bay"

In this painting of Lee Bay, the sun is rising behind the trees, creating a crisp contrast between light and dark. The edges of the shadowed rocks appeared sharp and angular against the piercing sun, so I painted these with rich black paint to capture these distinct shapes. Light glistened and sparkled on the water, reminding me how magical the bay can feel at sunrise.
