About "Shack in the Woods"

As much as I love painting the impressive architecture of the big cities, I equally enjoy painting simple structures like this lovingly hand-built shack in my friend's woods. There was something special about the shack that made it so endearing and cosy, especially when lit up in the evening. The glow from the fire and inside the shack, along with the crackling of the fire and the smell of the moist woodland air, created a scene too irresistible not to paint.
