About "Walkman Rhythm"
I was recently inspired to paint retro objects after re-discovering some of my old gadgets from the 80s. Seeing and holding my walkman again, I was reminded of the satisfaction of sliding a cassette into the player and hearing the whir as the tape begins to play. I wanted to recreate the joyous feeling of listening to music on my walkman, so I used posca pens to create vibrant splashes of paint, somewhat reminiscent of musical notes.
