About "Watermouth Cove"

Painted at low tide at Watermouth Cove, just a few minutes drive from my studio, my eye follows the boats scattered around the harbour into the distance. There was a warmth to the light on this day, which inspired the colours I included on my palette. Puddled water on the sand reflects the blue sky and boats, creating naturally beautiful lines weaving through the scene.
