About "Exmoor Stroll"

I was inspired to paint this piece whilst walking the depths of Exmoor's remote and tranquil landscape. The heavens opened up whilst I was painting, but rather than feel despondent I allowed the rain to pummel down onto the painting, leaving splatters over the page. These rain-like marks reflect my experience of the scene on that day, and highlight the unpredictability of Britains ever-changing weather conditions.
