About "Looking Down from the Shard"
This London piece overlooking the Thames and Tower Bridge was really fun to paint. To capture the atmospheric wet weather of the scene, I built up fluid layers of colour, allowing the paint to drip down the page. I then added details and elements of interest with pen.
