About "Spaghetti Junction"
This piece was painted from a photograph taken whilst going through the Spaghetti Junction on the way to Birmingham. I have always been fascinated by this intertwining structure of columns and roads, and how its sculptural qualities are accentuated in the strong directional morning light.
